Legislative Decree No. 541 implementing Directive 1999/19/EC and 97/70/EC setting up a harmonized safety regime for fishing vessels of 24 metres in length and over.

This Decree applies to seagoing fishing vessels of 24 metres in length and over, in accordance with the Torremolinos Protocol and applies both to new and existing vessels. The responsible authority will issue the required certification and will periodically control fishing vessels fishing in its territorial waters. (11 Articles and 5 Annexes)
