This Order regulates bivalve collection within South-western fishing area. It consists of 6 articles specifying the protection requirements to be met in order to perform mollusc fishing. Restrictions are established in order to protect certain mollusc species. Quotas to be caugth in the specified fishing area according to the different species are listed as follows: hard clam (Callista chione) = 400 kg; surf clam (Spisula solida) = 300 kg; donax clams (Donax spp.) = 150 kg; Atlantic razor clam (Ensis spp.) = 150 kg; carpetshell (Venerupis pullastra) = 200 kg.
