No animal (not defined) shall be allowed to stray on public or private premises without being authorised to do so (sect. 2). Section 3 prescribes a penalty for unallowed straying. Powers to seize and impound straying animals by the Police are defined in section 4. Also owners of immovable property may seize animals under section 5. Section 6 concerns disposal (including slaughtering) of seized animals. Section 7 defines regulation making powers (7 sections)
