The present Act lays down provisions relating to fisheries in the Canton of Obwalden. Fishing activities shall be authorized by the Canton unless otherwise agreed amongst different cantons. Article 4 establishes that the Canton shall issue regulations concerning various fishing licences, their duration, the relevant fees, conditions for the issue of fishing authorizations, as well as determination of closed seasons. In case of violations of the present Act penalties shall be paid to the Canton of Obwalden. The text consists of 8 articles.
