This Decree is composed of four Chapters and one Annex. It approves the Regional Forestry Plan of Barroso and Pradela (PROF BeP). The annexed Regional Forestry Plan is structured in three Titles divided in five Chapters and several annexes. It defines the legal nature and scope for application of the planning measures, with the aim of achieving a sustainable and multifunctional use of forest resources. Particular attention is devoted to the regulation of forest use according to homogeneous sub-areas listed in the Plan. Moreover, the Plan provides agro-forestry models and indicates intervention measures. Finally, it rules on monitoring procedures and tools.
