The purpose of this Ordinance is to control the manufacture, storage, transportion of dangerous goods. Dangerous goods shall be explosives, compressed gases, petroleum, substances giving off poisonous gas or vapour, corrosive substances, radioactive material, etc. A licence shall be required to manufacture, store, convey or use dangerous goods. The Ordinance also contains provisions for the inspection of buildings in which dangerous goods are manufactured, stored or used, and for offences and penalties.
