The present Regulations provide for the enactment of the Animal Products Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the weighing and grading of beef carcasses. The text – consisting of 14 sections deals with the following matters: carcass weighing, document for railgrade settlement, railgrade settlement for subject animals, operational requirements for an operator, duties of a railgrade supervisor, documents to be retained, animal product marking or branding limitations and compliance with director’s requirements.
