The present Law applies to all public and private waters. The purpose of the present Law is to: a) conserve, improve or reinstore all local fish and fish species with their living space; b) protect endangered species; c) guarantee the sustainable use of fish stocks. The present Law consists of 41 articles divided into10 Parts as follows: Sphere of application and purpose (I); Sovereignty on fishing and fishing authorization (II); Protection, use and exploitation of fish and crustacean (III); Protection of living space (IV); Information, vocational training, research (V); Special fishing rights (VI); Competences (VII); Legal protection (VIII); Penalties (IX); Final provisions (X).
