This Ministerial Decree establishes that limits (maximum amount) and quotas of water abstraction from surface waterbodies and effluent waste water discharge until 1 January 2015 shall be set by the Federal Water Resources Agency. Applications for quotas for water abstraction submitted by the regional executive bodies to the Federal Water Resources Agency shall contain water annual demand data with the consideration of concluded water use agreements and issued water uses licences.
