General Memorandum Order No. 10 prescribing guidelines for the processing of applications for bareboat charter contracts of foreign fishing boats with any foreign persons, corporation or entity within the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

This Memorandum Order prescribes requirements, procedures and provides application forms for Bareboat Charter Agreements and their renewal and for the issuance of Special Commercial Fishing Boat Licences and their renewal. A bareboat charter is a contract for the lease of a vessel for a stipulated period of time where the lessee has the complete possession of the vessel, master and crew for the duration of the lease. All applications for bareboat charter shall be filed with the Ministry of Agriculture through the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic resources indicating the basic plan and information about the company and foreign partner.
