Section 3 of the above-mentioned Act establishes a body corporate to be known as the Registered Professional Foresters Association of Nova Scotia. The objects of the Association are to : a) establish and maintain high standards of professional ethics and excellence for members in the practice of professional forestry; b) assure the general public of the knowledge, skill, proficiency and competency in the practice of professional forestry of professional foresters who are members; c) promote and improve the knowledge, skill, proficiency and competency in all matters relating to the practice of professional forestry of professional foresters who are members; and d) do all such matters and things as will advance the interests of professional foresters in the practice of professional forestry. The text consists of 33 sections.
