These Regulations implement provisions of the Waste Management Act by: imposing a levy on imported good; by establishing the amount of prescribed waste disposal fee under section 10 for disposal of asbestos, asbestos product and material containing asbestos at the Waste Management Centre; and by prescribing the form and consistency of receptacles used for disposal of asbestos.
