This Regulation prohibits fishing for tuna fishing activities in the eastern Atlantic and in the Mediterranean for purse seiners flying the flag of or registered in Spain as from 11 June 2011. From that date it shall also be prohibited to retain on board, relocate, tranship or land such stock caught by those vessels.
