These Regulations provide for the supply of safe drinking water. The Regulations set out requirements and procedures for the preparation of risk management plans and set out drinking water quality standards. They further set out requirements relating to the frequency of collection of samples of water for analysis by approved water analysts, and specify the issues relating to the quality of drinking water and regulated water, in an annual report to be given to the Secretary by a water supplier and water storage manager.
