These Regulations set out rules for prospecting for minerals. They prohibit prospecting on lands within the Island of St. Helena or its Dependency of Ascension Island without the licence of the Governor. An area for prospecting may be selected and occupied in virtue of the prospecting licence. One area only shall be occupied in virtue of one prospecting licence carry out land repair works.
