Slaughterhouse Regulations (Cap. 49).

These Regulations provide rules for hygienic conditions in places for slaughtering animals, the flesh of which is intended for sale for human consumption. They require premises used as a slaughterhouse to be authorized by a certificate issued by the Health Protection Board. If the meat of an animal is to be sold for human consumption the animal must be slaughtered in a slaughterhouse, except if authorized otherwise.
