These Regulations implement the Port Authorities Act 1999. The Regulations provide for: requirements for vessels arriving at port; matters relating to safety and to revenue; approval of pilots and licensing of pilotage services providers; information on goods and cargo; infringement notices and penalties; matters relating to particular port authorities set out in Schedule 1; etc.
