The present Ordinance implements the Federal Food Act of 9 October 1992. Article 1 establishes that the Governing Council is entrusted with the enforcement of federal legislation concerning food. The text consists of 14 articles divided into 3 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Organization and competences (II); Proceedings (III).
