The present Regulation is made under the Wildlife Act. In particular, the Regulation establishes a Fund to be known as the Conservation Fund. Section 1 (2) of the Act establishes that the objects of the Fund are to support projects and activities respecting conservation, protection and management of wildlife and its habitat.
