This Joint Order, consisting of three Titles and 3 Annexes, establishes the technical regulation of the monitoring plan for the eradication of bovine tuberculosis in the state of Mato Grosso and creates the State Programme for the granuloma within the State of Mato Grosso. This technical regulation aims at regulating the monitoring plan for the eradication of bovine tuberculosis within the state of Mato Grosso, since in this state the prevalence of bovine tuberculosis is low, it is possible to implement a surveillance system to detect a residual focus sanitation. The State Programme for the granuloma is a set of surveillance measures for cattle and buffalo slaughterhouse establishments under Federal inspection, State and Municipal, which aims to identify, through diagnostic techniques, the agent causing granulomatous tuberculosis, observed in the carcasses of slaughtered animals. Title I establishes General Provisions; Title II specifies the Surveillance Plan for Eliminating Bovine Tubercolosis within Mato Grosso; Title III provides for the State Programme for the granuloma.
