This Law establishes a complete national system for the concrete defense and response to various emergency situations on the territory of the Republic of Srpska, part of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The rules provided by this Law are aimed to offer rescue and protection measures for all sorts of emergency situations caused by human and/or natural disasters and incidents, including the duties and responsibilities of the competent bodies on local and regional level, further defining various monitoring issues and other rules all necessary for the protection and rescue of human lives, environment and nature. This Law is divided into XII Chapters and 173 article, including all offences and related penalties.
