The present Decision implements the Ordinance on the fight against dangerous plant diseases of 20 November 2000. In particular, the Decision regulates the ban on planting (as listed in the Annex) and compensation payments in connexion with the control of fire blight in the area of the Canton Appenzell-Innerrhoden. Article 5 establishes that the clearing and removal of infected plants shall be carried out according to federal provisions and according to decisions of the Agriculture and Forestry Office. The text consists of 6 articles and 1 Annex.
