Regional Decree No. 420-p validating the Strategy for development of agriculture and markets of agricultural commodities, raw materials and food for the period of 2016-2020.

This Regional Decree establishes that state support through subsidies and incentives shall be aimed at the development of agro-industrial and food sector with a view of efficiency improvement of the use of available resources. In particular, major attention shall be paid to inland fishing water bodies with a view of raising the amount of fish products for trade on internal market. Glasshouse horticulture and crop growing, reindeer ranching and wild fauna species captive breeding shall be promoted as priority at the regional level. The scope of agro-industrial development shall be to ensure food security.
