The Rules set out the procedure for application and grant of licence to establish a saw mill or saw pit. Additionally, the rules also provide the process for renewal of such license. Furthermore, the Rules state that the Licensing Officer shall submit a list of persons who are already operating saw mills or who have obtained licence for establishing and operating new saw mills along with the name of such saw mills to the Executive Engineer of the Bihar State Electricity Board.
