Resolution No. 18/2018 creating an Interministerial Committee for the Development of the Plan of Action in the framework of the Land Degradation Neutrality Programme (NDT).

This Resolution establishes an Interministerial Commission for the Elaboration of the Plan of Action in the framework of the Land Degradation Neutrality Programme (NDT) and the elaboration of a Structuring Project for Cape Verde, that allows the achievement of the goals of the NDT programme in an efficient way. It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Commission which, in liaison with all sectors of the MAA and the UNCCD, is responsible for: a) give advise on the NDT indicators already defined by the UNCCD in close collaboration with the MAA; b) elaborate the plan of action for the implementation of the NDT programme; c) select the target island that is the intervention zone of the NDT programme; d) elaborate the Structuring Project for Cape Verde, according to the guidelines of the UNCCD.
