This Law here defines various general issues and provisions aimed to regulate the mining sector and its relation with the concessions, right of use, environmental impact, administrative terms and other rules. This Law further closely determines the: legal status of mining raw materials; classification of mineral resources; manner and conditions for mineral resources management, protection, and performance of related mining works; occupational safety measures, cessation and permanent interruption of mining works, technical documentation and design, mining and mining plans; inspection provisions; and additional provisions related to the management of mineral resources (here defined as general interest goods with granted special protection). This Law is divided into X Chapters and 98 articles, including offences and related penalties (see Chapter IX).
