This Regional Decree establishes that state nature reserve of regional significance Lake Lenevo shall be classified as complex protected area with a view of conservation and reproduction of natural complex of Lake Lenevo. The goals of natural reserve shall be as follows: (a) restoration of natural complex and its conservation in natural state; (b) maintenance of ecological balance and stable functioning of ecosystem; and (c) ecological education and cognitive tourism. Nature reserve shall perform the following tasks: (a) reduction of anthropogenic impact on natural complex; (b) recreation of the population; (c) scientific research; and (d) environmental awareness building. The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of natural reserve Lake Lenevo : (a) effluent waste water discharge; (b) waste disposal and littering; (c) organization of tourist camps and making bonfires outside the specially designated places; (d) movement of motor vehicles outside common access roads; (e) destruction and removal form their natural habitats of protected and endangered wild fauna and wild flora species; (e) procurement of edible non-timber forest resources and medicinal plants (with the exception of procurement by citizens of such resources for their own personal needs); (f) commercial, sport and artisanal hunting; (g) grazing and haymaking; (h) burning of vegetation, including forest vegetation; (i) ploughing up; (j) felling of trees and shrubbery (except for forestry protection measures); (k) construction not related to the functioning of natural reserve; and (l) damaging information boards, posters and other infrastructure of the reserve.
