These Regulations make provisions for the installation, operation and maintenance of electrical equipment. Any Electrical Services Engineer, Competent Electrical Engineer, Electrical Supervisor, Chargeman, Wireman or Cable Jointer shall possess a valid Certificate of Competency appropriate to such category. The Regulations further provides for: registration of installations; inspection and test of installation; material, equipment and method of Installation; requirements for registration as an Electrical Contractor; offences and penalties; etc.
