These Measures are enacted to timely and accurately grasp the natural disaster situation, provide decision-making basis for disaster relief work. The Measures consist of 20 Articles. Disaster situation statistics, verification, evaluation and reporting must be realistic, timely, and accurate. The provision of disasters to the international community shall be subject to the approval of the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The statistics of the disaster situation mainly include the comprehensive situation, the loss of agriculture and animal husbandry, and work data.
