This Measure of the Commission of the South Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Organisation (SPRFMO) specifies, with regard to the fishing vessels flying their flag and fishing for non-highly migratory fishery resources in the Convention Area, obligations of Members and Cooperating non-Contracting Parties (CNCPs) to develop, implement and improve systems for the collection, reporting, verification and exchange of data on fishing activities and the impacts of fishing (including, among other things, implementation of observer programmes). The Measure specifies standards for observer data collected during a landing or while a vessel is in port.
