This Law, consisting of 16 articles and one Annex, establishes the State Technical Cadastre for Potentially Polluting Activities or using Environmental Resources under the National Environmental System (SISNAMA), the Environmental Control and Inspection Fee (TCFA-RS), in accordance with Federal Law No. 6.938 of 31 August 1981. Registration is mandatory for natural or legal persons engaged in activities potentially polluting, using natural resources and/or extracting, producing, transporting and marketing potentially hazardous products to the environment, as well as fauna and flora products and by-products.
