This Decree, consisting of 9 articles and one Annex, creates within the Public Administration of the State the Management Committee of the Incentives Programme for the Recovery of Riparian Forests and the Rehabilitation of Vegetation in the Basins for Water Springs, established by Decree No. 60.521 of 2014. This Management Committee aims at performing the following activities: exercise superior coordination, approve and monitor the development and implementation of the Plan of Action provided for in article 4 of this Decree; define the area of coverage of the Riparian Forests Programme, without prejudice to that already included in paragraph 2 of article 4 of this Decree; define the priority areas for intervention to be considered in the Plan of Action, without prejudice to that referred to in paragraph 4 of article 4 of this Decree; periodically evaluate the results achieved by the Plan of Action, contributing to the adoption of the necessary measures to the full achievement of its objectives; disseminate the results achieved by the Plan of Action. The Annex shows the geographical limits related to the Area of Coverage and the Priority Areas of Intervention of Riparian Forests Programme.
