These Regulations, consisting of 11 Articles, are enacted in accordance with the Air Pollution Control Act. Public and private premises where air pollution control units or personnel shall be set up according to the Announcement designated by the central competent authority, shall develop air pollution emergency response measures and plans. Such measures and plans shall be submitted to the special municipality, county or city competent authority for approval before being implemented precisely. The Regulations further provide for the issuance of deterioration alerts, notification methods and response measures and the contents and execution methods of the air pollution emergency response measures and plans.
