These Provisions, consisting of 9 Articles, are enacted to give full play to the role of experts in the registration and evaluation of environmental damage judicial expertise institutions. The expert pool for registration and assessment of environmental damage judicial expertise institutions of shall be composed of the national expert pool and the local expert pool. The national expert pool consists of eight expert databases in the fields of pollutant properties, surface water and sediment, environmental atmosphere, soil and groundwater, coastal ocean and coastal zone, ecosystem, environmental economy and other categories (mainly including noise, vibration, light, heat, electromagnetic radiation, nuclear radiation, environmental law, etc.).
