This Administrative Regulation is enacted in accordance with the paragraph 5) of Article 50 of the Basic Law of the Macao Special Administrative Region. The administrative regulation stipulates the powers, composition and operation methods of the Urban Planning Commission. In addition to the functions and powers stipulated in Law No. 12/2013 Urban Planning, as a government’s advisory body, the Urban Planning Commission’s powers include: (1) Research on urban development strategy; (2) Draft laws and regulations in the area of urban planning; (3) Technical regulations and guidelines for urban planning; etc.
