This Administrative Regulation aims at establishing the Women and Children's Affairs Committee. The duties of the committee include: (1) Maintain the opportunities, rights and dignity that women and children deserve; (2) Assist the government of the Macao Special Administrative Region to conceive and promote policies and measures concerning women and children's affairs; (3) To put forward opinions and suggestions on the women and children policies in different administrative fields of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government; (4)Promote the effective implementation of the international conventions on the rights of women and children applicable to the Macao Special Administrative Region; etc.
