This Regulation establishes the procedure for organization and performance of control over the functioning of pick-up location points on the regional territory. Regional Ministry of Forests and Protection of Wildlife shall be responsible for supervision on the regional territory, and environmental inspectors shall be responsible for supervision on the territory of regional protected areas. The scope of control and supervision shall be preventing, detecting and suppressing violations by legal entities, their managers and other officials, individual entrepreneurs, their authorized representatives, carrying out the activity connected with the receipt, storage, processing and shipment of timber. Control and supervision shall be performed by organization and conduct of inspections in respect of the aforesaid persons and application of measures to prevent violations of mandatory requirements. Risk-oriented approach shall be applied in the process of inspection. The Regulation establishes sequence and frequency of inspections.
