Nature monument of regional importance "Crater Lake of volcano Semyachik" is a national patrimony. The objectives of the creation of the nature monument of regional significance "Crater Lake of volcano Semyachik" shall be as follows: (a) preservation in the natural state of valuable in the ecological, scientific, recreational and aesthetic aspects of the natural landscape of volcanogenic complex, represented by one of the most acidic in the world, endorheic alpine thermal crater lake Troitsky (Green) with a unique composition of highly mineralized emerald-turquoise water colors from a mixture of sulfuric, hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids; (b) conducting scientific research; (c) state environmental monitoring; (d) development of regulated tourism; and (e) environmental education of the population.
