This Chapter provides for the codification of the Sikes Act of 1960 and concerns conservation programs on military installations and on public lands. Matters covered by this Chapter include: cooperative plan for conservation and rehabilitation; integrated natural resources management plan; sustainable multipurpose use of the resources on military installations, including hunting, fishing, trapping; required elements of plans, including sustainable use of natural resources; fish and wildlife habitats protection; forest and land management; wetland protection; migratory game birds and hunting permits; interagency agreements for land management on military installations; wild animal conservation and rehabilitation programs programs on public lands, including desert tortoise; enforcement provisions.
