This Framework for Responsible and Inclusive Land-Intensive Agricultural Investment (FRILIA) Toolkit is a comprehensive and strategic resource designed to support the successful development and implementation of large-scale agricultural projects under FRILIA initiative, and therefore it serves as a guide for stakeholders to ensure that agricultural investments contribute positively to local economies, respect the environment, and improve the well-being of communities, particularly vulnerable groups such as women and youth. This Toolkit focuses on land access and management, environmental risk management, food security, in order to improve local smallholder farmers' accessibility to larger agricultural supply chains, enhance food security, promote sustainable farming practices, and ensure that local communities benefit directly from the investment.
