This Decree establishes additional requirements for placing on the market products containing palm oil, palm fat, or other vegetable oils and fats with a milk component, packaging, declaration and advertising of these products, the method and procedure of labelling, the appearance of the label, the responsibility of the entity in business, as well as the method of performing official controls. Products containing palm oil, palm fat, or other vegetable oils and fats, within the meaning of this text, are products with palm oil, palm fat, or other vegetable oils and fats and with a milk component, such as dairy products (cheese, whey, sour cream, pasteurized milk, milk proteins, butter, etc.), bakery and confectionery products (filled pastries, burek, pie, filled pastries made of puff pastry and yeast (fermented) puff pastry, cakes), spreads, margarine spreads and their related products. A palm oil product, or other vegetable oil, placed on the market must meet the requirements in accordance with the regulation governing food safety and this Decree, and the business entity that places it on the market, or delivers it to the end consumer, is responsible for this.
