This Law creates the Sustainable Development and Incentive Programme for Coastal Zones Towns within the State of Rio de Janeiro, with the aim of integrating innovative technologies into the sustainable urban development of coastal towns, as well as improving the quality of life of their populations and strengthening the maritime economy. The State Programme aims to promote the following initiatives: Environmental Monitoring and Sustainable Management; Economic Development, Innovation in the Maritime Economy and Digital Governance, in partnership with local authorities.
