Agriculture Ordinance (LV) (910.11).

The ordinance sets detailed implementing rules for agricultural legislation in Zürich, based on the Federal Agriculture Act. It assigns administrative, supervisory and data‑management responsibilities to the Office for Landscape and Nature (ALN), municipal agricultural offices and other competent bodies, and regulates inspections, access to holdings, electronic submission of direct‑payment applications, and land‑related matters such as burden limits, land‑register entries and defined purchase or rent values. The ordinance further governs structure‑improvement grants and loans, sectoral provisions on animal shows, viticulture, plant‑protection measures and quarantine‑organism funding, and support for conversion to organic farming. Implementation mechanisms include ALN guidelines, supervision, training coordination, contribution refusals or recoveries, procedural rules for notices and appeals, sanctions for obstructing controls, and entry‑into‑force provisions referencing the enabling federal and cantonal laws.
