This Resolution directs the Government of Mongolia to undertake measures required for the implementation of the Law on Animal Health. It mandates the Government to ensure the organizational arrangements and transitional preparations necessary for the application of the law following its adoption. The Resolution further requires the preparation and adoption of administrative normative acts provided for under the Law on Animal Health by 1 June 2018. The Resolution also instructs the Government to prepare draft amendments to related legislation and submit them to the State Great Khural by 1 March 2018 to align the broader legal framework with the newly adopted animal health legislation. In addition, oversight of the implementation of the Resolution is assigned to the Standing Committee on Environment, Food and Agriculture of the State Great Khural.
