The Order approves the application form for obtaining an integrated environmental permit and the form of the integrated environmental permit. The application form establishes the information to be submitted by an operator concerning the activity and its location, industrial processes, environmental management measures, application of best available techniques, use of resources, emissions, waste management, monitoring, reporting, accident risks, measures applicable to non-routine operating conditions, and the cessation of activities. It also specifies the documents and supporting materials to accompany an application and provides instructions for completing the form. The Order establishes the structure and content of the integrated environmental permit, including information relating to the permit holder, the activity, the place of operation, the basis for issuance of the permit, permit conditions and annexes. It sets out the requirements governing the assessment of applications and the formulation of permit conditions concerning environmental management, resource use, emissions to air and water, protection of soil and groundwater, waste management, noise and vibration, accident prevention and response, monitoring, reporting, notification obligations and site closure measures.
