Law on Industrial Lands.

This Law establishes the legal framework for the establishment, management, development and governance of industrial lands in Afghanistan. It regulates the planning, design, expansion and administration of industrial areas, defines the responsibilities of competent authorities, and sets out procedures for land allocation, sale, lease, pricing and infrastructure cost recovery. The Law provides for different models of industrial lands, including public, private and public-private industrial zones, and establishes rules concerning governance structures, investment, registration, transfer and use of industrial land. It also contains provisions on monitoring, compliance, enforcement, appeals, protection of industrial assets and publication, with the aim of promoting industrial development through an organised and regulated industrial land system. Article 55 of the text provides for the rules on prohibition of littering.
