The Rajasthan Industrial Development Policy, 2019 establishes a framework for promoting inclusive, balanced and sustainable industrial development in the State of Rajasthan. The policy aims to attract investment, strengthen industrial infrastructure, generate employment, encourage entrepreneurship and innovation, and enhance the competitiveness of key economic sectors through fiscal incentives, regulatory reforms and improved business services. Measures include the development of industrial parks and clusters, support for renewable energy and resource-efficient technologies, provision of water and power infrastructure, promotion of skill development, and assistance to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). The policy supports agro-food processing industries, rural entrepreneurship, sustainable use of natural resources, renewable energy deployment, and infrastructure for environmental management, including common effluent treatment and zero liquid discharge systems. Institutional mechanisms are established for policy implementation, investment facilitation, grievance redressal, export promotion, and monitoring of policy outcomes.
