These Rules amend the Biological Diversity Rules, 2024 (principal Rules). Rule 19 of the principal Rules, which contained the procedure for obtaining a certificate of origin for cultivated medicinal plants, is substituted. Consequently, the First Schedule of the principal rules are amended which provides for the fees for various applications that can be made under the Rules.
