The Regional Regulation describes the administrative and technical procedure to be followed to cut trees in forests in the Puglia Region. The Regulation does not concern public or private gardens, chestnut woods, fruit culture installations nor wood arboriculture installations. It shall apply to forest areas falling within the regional territory. The authorization shall be issued by the competent Provincial Forestry Inspectorate, upon request submitted by the applicant. the application must contain the information required by article 3 and it must be also accompanied by a technical report. The register on tree cutting is established under the Regional Forestry Inspectorate. The register shall contain statistical data, in accordance with the layout elaborated by the Regional Forestry Inspectorate.
