This Act provides for the transport and supply of processed natural gas, it consists of seven Chapters divided into 334 sections. Chapter 2 covers issues related to distribution of processed natural gas, including provisions on gas infrastructures, distribution officers and meter and control apparatus. Chapter 3 is dedicated to the supply of reticulated processed natural gas and Chapter 4 to sufficiency of supply. Chapter 5 contains provisions on resolution of gas infrastructure work disputes and Chapter 5A on industry codes. The remaining part of the Act contains provisions of miscellaneous nature (Chapter 6), offences, registration of authorizations and two Schedules.
